Dr. Warikoo has been Scientific Director of ART Laboratory at Bethesda Fertility Center, Cincinnati, Ohio since 1998.  He received his undergraduate degrees from Delhi University, India and Doctoral Degree in 1988 on Primate Reproductive Physiology from National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, University of Delhi, India. He did his Post-Doctoral research at Wisconsin Regional Primate Research Center, University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI on primate IVF, oocyte maturation & embryo splitting.

 

Dr. Warikoo became Director of IVF laboratory at Southern California Fertility Institute, Santa Monica, California in 1989, followed by Senior Embryologist at FIRST IVF in Saginaw Michigan. In 1993, Dr. Warikoo moved to Department of OB/GYN, University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, TN where he was engaged in resident teaching and established a new ART program. Since 1998, he has been the Scientific Director of ART Laboratory at Bethesda Fertility Center, Cincinnati, Ohio.

 

Dr. Warikoo has several publications in peer reviewed journals, book chapter and taught on various aspects of assisted reproductive technologies for past 26 years. He is board certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis to direct high complexity andrology laboratory (HCLD), human embryology laboratory (ELD) and as a clinical consultant (CC).

He continues to be ad-hoc reviewer for Fertility and Sterility, Journal of In-Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer and Biology of Reproduction. Dr. Warikoo is Laboratory Director at Bethesda Fertility Center and Wright State Physicians Andrology Laboratory. His IVF center performs 350 cycles a year and is regarded as a superior ART program in the area. For several years his laboratory has been achieving very high pregnancy rates in Donor ART cycles. Dr. Warikoo also holds a Clinical Associate Professor position in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Warikoo is actively involved in research in human pre-implantation embryo development, in vitro culture systems and sperm DNA fragmentation.
