Since 2004, Donna has been the Laboratory Supervisor for Infertility Solution in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She was very fortunate to train with the help of Amiya Mukherjee MSc, MPhil, PhD who was at the time Chief Embryologist at the Hallam Medical Centre in London and visited Easton, PA for 1 month. |
Donna received her BS in Biology and a BA in Environmental Studies at East Stroudsburg State College in 1983. She has been in the profession for more than 23 years. She is board certified through the American Association of Bioanalysts in Embryology and Andrology as a Technical Supervisor.
IVF has gone through many changes through Donna’s 23 year career. She has acquired skills in intracytoplasmic sperm injection, co-culture, blastocyst culture, assisted hatching, low oxygen culture systems, and vitrification of blastocysts. Her passion during the past 4 years has been in vitro maturation of oocytes and Mini-Stim IVF. These techniques are much milder approaches to stimulation, safer and cost saving for the patient.
Donna has contributed to multiple publications involving many aspects of In Vitro Maturation.
