Embryologist of the Month of September 2014 Dr. Bo Feng, PhD, HCLD

       Dr. Bo Feng, PhD, HCLD

Dr. Feng received her medical degree from China and earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Dr. Feng obtained postdoctoral training at Rutgers University, State University of New Jersey.  She was formerly an Assistant Professor at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She has published many important articles related to human reproduction in medical journals over the past several years.
 

Dr. Feng is a well-respected scientist with an extensive research background with many publications in the human reproduction field. Her particular areas of interest are molecular basis as function of ovarian reserve, human embryo quality improvement and embryo micro-manipulation. 

 

Dr. Feng has been Director of Center for Advanced Reproductive Medicine and Fertility in Edison, New Jersey since 2009.  She posses 19 years experience of working in human embryology. She performs a full range of state-of-the-art embryology techniques, oversees quality control and ensures quality improvement in the IVF Laboratory.

 

Dr. Feng is certified as a High-Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD) and Clinical Consultant (CC) by the American Board of Bioanalysis. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB).
