Dr. Peter Nagy

 

        Zsolt Peter Nagy, was born in Hungary and graduated summa cum laude from the Semmelweis Medical University of Budapest in 1986. He moved to Brussels, Belgium in 1989 and obtained a Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Free University of Brussells (VUB) in 1991; then a second Masters degree in Hospital Management at VUB in 1993 and in 1998 was awarded a Ph.D. degree in biomedical science at the same University.
       Prior to joining the team at Reproductive Biology Associates he was Scientific Director in Sao Paulo, Brazil and at the European Hospital in Rome, Italy. Peter has been an international consultant for many years and has helped establish several ICSI laboratories in different parts of the world.
       Dr. Nagy has studied physiological aspects and improved efficiency of micromanipulation procedures, including ICSI; also developed a new method of cell fusion, and most recently established a highly efficient oocyte cryopreservation procedure that provides a technical base in creating the first functioning Donor Egg Cryo Bank in the US and around the world. He has over 150 publications and chapters in scientific journals. His favorite sport is tennis.
