Dr. Iqbal Khan, PhD

Iqbal Khan received his Ph.D. from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. After completing his post-doctoral training at the University of Illinios in Chicago and his embryology training under the guidance of Dr. Richard Rawlins at Rush Presbytarian Hospital, he joined the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia as Laboratory Director.

At the Medical College of Georgia, He was actively involved in research and training of residents and fellows in the section of reproductive endocrinology, genetics and infertility. He is member of several scientific organizations and is a certified laboratory inspector with the College of American Pathologist and serves as a consultant on Reproductive Medicine Ancillary Committee with the College. He has been invited as a speaker at several national and international conferences and has published his research in basic science and clinical journals. He has authored more than 50 scientific publications and book chapters.
