Antoine La is Director of West Coast Fertility Center's Embryology Laboratory. He is a highly experienced embryologist and a scientist. His areas of responsibility and specialization include; IVF, GIFT, ZIFT, PESA, Embryo Biopsy, FISH, micromanipulation, ICSI, assisted hatching, embryo freezing/thawing, egg freezing, sperm freezing, preparation of epididymal sperm for ICSI, epididymal sperm freezing and testicular sperm preparation. |
Antoine received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Irvine. He is a member of the American Board of Bioanalysts (TS, ELD), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for the Study of Reproduction.
He is author of many abstracts and papers on fertility and Assisted Reproductive Technologies. He is well known for research advances in the field of blastocyst culture and pre-implantation genetics as well as a leading expert in laboratory management, laboratory design, quality improvement programs, and single embryo transfer. His primary responsibility is to ensure that all state and federal regulations are adhered.
Antoine has over 18 years of Clinical Embryology experience. As a scientist and researcher, he has pioneered the development of culture medium for successful freezing and thawing of human oocytes. He has 16 abstracts and publications relating to egg freezing.
