GRANDFATHERING INTO EMB FOR NON-DOCTORAL EMBRYOLOGY PRACTITIONERS

After careful review of input from a large number of embryology practitioners, the ACE Education Committee, and the ACE Advisory, and Administrative Boards, have responded to the request for grandfathering at the level of Embryologist (EMB Level IV) for Embryology professionals who do NOT hold Doctoral degree.

Since the ACE focuses on education and quality Standards of Practice, the organization has developed a method for qualified individuals to grandfather within our current grandfathering period, ending February 28, 2011 by demonstrating that their contribution to the development of the profession and their commitment to the continued education merits such certification.
